A DOUBLE glazing firm worker was more than twice over the drink-driving limit when he was seen weaving about a motorway by police.
Brendan Whittam, 32, of Tockholes Road, Darwen, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. He was banned for 20 months, fined £250 with £60 costs and ordered to pay the £15 victims' surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
On November 18 at 5.20am police saw Whittam in a Vauxhall Corsa weaving about lanes of the M55 at Blackpool.
His speed also varied between 80mph and 60mph.
