THE opening of a new set of services near Blackburn’s Junction 6 of the M65 has been delayed by a few days.
The Starbucks, KFC and Greggs drive-through outlets, a SPAR shop and BP petrol station, was due to open on Monday
They are now expected to begin operation by the weekend.
A new traffic signal gantry on the Whitebirk roundabout and access road to the service area on the £100million 90-acre Frontier Park development by Blackburn-based Euro-Garages were completed on time last week.
Alex Kenwright, development manager, said: "There has been a slight delay while work is completed on the petrol station which obviously has be be just right..
"We expect it, the shop and drive-thrus to open by the Bank Holiday weekend."
The business park on the Blackburn/Hyndburn border will have a million sq ft of commercial space.
The full development, due for completion by 2022, aims to create 2,000 jobs
