BAD weather has caused delays to a flyover of iconic planes from the Second World War for Darwen's annual 1940's Day today.
A Lancaster Bomber, Hurricane fighter and Spitfire were expected to fly over Darwen at the same time at around 1.15pm today.
However the RAF have told organisers that while the flyover will go ahead as planned, there will be a time change.
Organisers have been told that bad weather in Ireland and Blackpool has led to a small delay.
The Lancaster Bomber will sail across Darwen town centre as originally scheduled at 1.15pm but the Hurricane and Spitfire will not appear until an hour later at 2.10pm.
