CONCERNS have been raised over the safety of a missing pensioner.
Police have launched a public appeal to find 77-year-old Bernice Fitzpatrick, who is missing from her home in Burnley.
The former pub landlady, who has dementia, was last seen at Waterside Mews in Padiham at 10:30am today and officers have said she may have travelled to Helmshore.
Bernice was last seen wearing a khaki mac, red jumper with neckline beading, grey checked trousers and carrying a small hessian Marks and Spencers bag.
She is described as being 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and has short grey hair. As well as Burnley, Bernice has links to Blackburn and Nelson.
