A RANGE of free activities are on offer at Lancashire County Council's libraries the Ribble Valley this summer.
Clitheroe Library will host regular Saturday Storytime sessions for three to eight-year-olds from 1pm to 3pm and a Lego Club every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.for children aged eight plus.
It is also holding regular learning sessions for adults looking for a job, anyone wanting to improve their digital skills, weekly Crafternoons and a piano group every Saturday from noon to 4pm.
Activities for adults at Whalley Library include a Scrabble Club every Friday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, mindfulness sessions are held on Tuesdays from 10am to noon. Sketchbookery sessions on Friday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Weekly activities at Longridge Library include Sketch and Chat on Fridays and Bridge for Beginners on Monday afternoons.
It also offers 'seated exercise' on Tuesday between 10am and 11am; Baby Bounce and Rhyme on Tuesdays between 2.30pm and 3pm, and Storytime for Toddlers every Thursday from 2.30pm to 3pm.
Many other libraries hold regular Toddler Rhyme Time and Storytelling sessions weekly and host regular Reading Groups..
