HISTORIC Gawthorpe Hall is to run a series of family and children's activities next month.
The Wednesday holiday specials at Elizabethan stately home in Padiham near Burnley include creative crafts, pond dipping, snail racing and a 'Teddy Bear's Picnic'.
The activities will be held on 1, 8, 15 and 22 August and will run from 1pm to 4pm.
There's no need to book and there is a charge of £2.50 for each child taking part.
The hall is owned by the National Trust and run by Lancashire County Council.
All children must be supervised by an adult.
Cllr Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for cultural services, said:" I'm really pleased by the activities that are being held at Gawthorpe Hall.
"Children will be able to learn and have lots of fun, and adults will be greatly entertained."
Entrance to the garden and grounds is free and to the hall itself is £6 for adults and £4 concessions.
National Trust members and children go free.
