POLICE have launched a manhunt following reports a woman was sexually assaulted on a Blackburn street.
Officers said a 23-year-old woman, who is from Blackburn, was walking along Lower Audley Street at 5.45pm yesterday when she was approached by a man.
He followed her before touching her bottom, putting his hand up her top and then attempting to put his hand down her trousers.
No arrest has been made.
Police have issued a witness appeal.
A police spokesman said: "A female has been sexually assaulted on Lower Audley Street in Blackburn.
"The offender is described as a white male, skinny build, mid 20s, wearing a green khaki hoody riding a black and grey bike.
"The male had a distinctive black tooth.
"The last sighting of him was towards Waters Edge estate Blackburn.
