A SUMMER fete is set to take place on at the Church View residential home in Oswaldtwistle on Saturday.

The event will raise money for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients at the home and provide funds for day trips and other activities.

The fait will include lots of craft stalls, hot food available to buy, a tombola, raffle, pony rides, facepainting and more.

Lauren Prestage, one of the organisers of the event said: “We hope to see lots of people at the fete on Saturday.

“The money we raise does go a long way and it provides lots of support to everyone at the home.

“A portion of the money will also go to the Alzheimer’s Society.”

The event will start at 1pm and finish at around 4.30pm at the residential home in Church Street.

Admission is free however a donation will be accepted.
