THOUSANDS descended on a town gala which has been running for 70 years.
People from across Pendle, and out-of-town from Skipton, made the trip to Holt House in Colne on Saturday for the 2018 gala which included a town procession, Colne's Got Talent Finals and a live action stunt team.
There was also tug of war, live bands and a majorettes presentation at the Harrison Drive venue.
Despite the rain and downpour the weather didn't dampen spirits of the visitors.
Gary Seed, who has been chairman of the Colne Gala committee for 12 years, said: "I think apart from the weather it was good as it could get.
"The procession with Pendle Reading Challenge joined us this year and that was a good success."
