A MISSING teenager from Burnley has been found after a police appeal.

Shannon Baker, 16, previously went missing from her family home at 5.30pm on April 25, when she left with plans to visit her boyfriend.

An appeal was launched on the Burnley and Padiham Facebook page to locate her earlier today, and she has since been found.

A police statement said: "The 16-year-old girl who was missing from her home in Burnley has been located safe and well in the area this lunchtime.

"A big thank you as always to everyone who helped us by sharing the appeal."

Police previously descirbed her as 'vulnerable' and said her family were growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
