Fire services called to rescue chicken
A CHICKEN was rescued after it got stuck down a well.
Crews were called to Manchester Road in Barnoldswick at around 19.30 last night after a call came in to say a bird was stuck on a ledge down a well.
Firefighters were able to assist in safely rescuing the chicken and returning it to its owners.
A triple extension ladder was used to retrieve the lost bird.
