A DARWEN student is putting the building blocks in place for a successful future, having won the silver medal in a bricklaying competition.
Blackburn College student Daniel Roebuck, 18, won in the senior category of the regional Skillbuild Bricklaying Competition.
Daniel who works for his father's company, Roebuck and Sons in Darwen said: "I am delighted as the standard of competition in the regional heat was extremely high."
