AN MP visited a primary school to discuss child refugees.
Blackburn MP, Kate Hollern, visited Shadsworth Junior School in Blackburn last Friday to meet pupils and hear about their concerns for child refugees who have been separated from their parents. During a full morning’s visit Ms Hollern took questions from a number of classes as well as the School Council.
She said:"I was really impressed with the questions put to me by the children.
"They have clearly given these issues a lot of thought.
"It is good to see that pupils are looking at issues affecting the wider community, both in Blackburn and across the world, they should be proud of their efforts."
