POLICE are advising residents not to be alarmed if they hear early morning noise near Darwen Tower on Wednesday.
As part of celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Scouting movement, Scouts from Darwen are taking part in a dawn light parade at the tower.
They are expected to be at the site around 4.30am and police have said that if noise is heard in the area it will most likely be the whistles and bells accompanying the group of scouts.
