MORE than 200 jobs have been saved after an East Lancashire firm went into administration - but was bought by a rival.
Decorpart Ltd, of Edward Street, Nelson, which made metal packaging for perfumery and cosmetics was bought out by King's Lynn-based Bespak and has been renamed Integrated Aluminium Components.
An Administration Order was made in the High Court of Justice, Leeds District Registry in respect of Decorpart on July 17.
The jobs of all 230 employees at the company, set up in 1977, were saved by the buy-out.
Bespak was founded more than 40 years ago and is a leading supplier of technol-ogies and services to the pharmaceutical, healthcare and diagnostics industry The business is expected to run as a going concern.
