EAST Lancashire's biggest metal night - Corrupted - goes international this weekend with a performance by Dutch garage-rock band The Monroes.
They will play The Hargreaves, Accrington, tonight, and are being supported by Corrupted favourites, Preston-based The 315s. Entry is free.
There's also a special Corrupted gig at the Sir Charles Napier, Blackburn, on Monday, July 30, with two of the best thrash metal bands, Ireland's Residual Effect and Stockport's i-Remain performing to promote new major releases.
Supporting are local thrash favourites Faded Soul.
