A SUSPECTED car thief from East Lancashire has been added to Lancashire Police's most wanted list.

Mark Richard Eggar, 31, is originally from Manchester but police say he has connections to Blackburn, Simonstone and Bacup.

He was due before Preston Crown Court in April but failed to show up and there is warrant out for his arrest.

Three men from Blackburn. who have been missing for up to 14 months. are also still being hunted.

Inspector John Clucas of the Criminal Justice team said: "We never give up trying to trace individuals wanted on warrant and any information, even the smallest detail, should be passed on to us.

"We are using every method, available, to find these men.

"We hope the public will make use of the website to keep themselves up to date on the people we are looking for in their area.

"We are aware that the internet can reach a much broader range of people and it is hoped that with so many people looking for these men our chances of catching them is greatly increased."

Iraq-born Azwar Abdul Amin, 25, of St James Road, is suspected of being involved in a kidnapping in Blackburn and an assault; Adam Mark Pilkington, 22, of Temple Drive and Daniel Robert Hartley, 21, of Dyson Street are being sought for breaching court orders issued by judges at Preston.

Craig Hollings, 34, from the Darwen area, is wanted on dangerous driving and assault allegations and David Beetham, 57, from Blackburn, is wanted on a number of drugs warrants.

He is now believed to be in the Blackpool area.
