The incident happened at Lowerhouse Junior School, Liverpool Road, Burnley, at 7.30am this morning.
Nobody was hurt during the incident and the school is open as usual.
Headteacher Claire Holgate said: "This morning at 7.30am a car skidded on the ice and hit the front of the school. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Staff worked brilliantly to escort children into school safely through an alternative entrance, avoiding the damaged area."
