HARRY Dilworth celebrated his 60th anniversary by raising money for Pendleside hospice.
He and wife Carol, of St Anne's Drive, Fence, invited family and friends to a party at the village's Forest Inn, Cuckstool Lane, with Harry's brother David doing the disco and Andie Dee singing.
Harry asked for donations instead of gifts and £835 was raised for the hospice.
Harry said: " I am delighted to be able to help the hospice on the occasion of my birthday and I hope that other people think to help the hospice in a similar way."
