A permanent principle has been appointed at Sudell Primary School.
Aldridge Education Multi-Academy Trust has confirmed the appointment of Lenny Lewis as the permanent Principal of Sudell Primary School.
Mrs Lewis was appointed initially on an interim basis in September 2017.
Mrs Lewis said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my first three months working with our wonderful pupils, staff and parents, and want to be part of Sudell’s future success.
"My aim as Principal is to ensure that Sudell Primary School continues to aim to become recognised as a successful school where every child can achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development.
"My priority will be to focus on ensuring that all children learn and make good progress, experiencing the highest quality teaching and learning within a happy, safe and secure environment".
Aldridge Education Executive Principal Brendan Loughran said: "We were very pleased to be able to recruit Lenny for the start of this academic year, and to enable continuity of strong leadership at Sudell.
"Lenny joins us with great experience and a proven track record in improving schools.
"In the first three months of this year Lenny has had a very positive impact as the school continues on its journey of improvement".
