A local environmental charity will be providing a free herb planting workshop at this year's Hyndburn Mela.
Anyone attending will be provided with a pot, compost and seeds of their choice and will take away the end product.
A spokesman for the Accrington-based Prospects Foundation said: "We have recently been involved in a number of community food growing projects which have been very popular so we decided to continue with this theme at the mela.
"Anyone who enjoys cooking and would like to grow their own produce should come along to take advantage of the free herbs on offer."
The mela takes place this year at the rearranged venue of Hyndburn Sports Centre, this Sunday.
