THE jury in the trial of a takeaway manager accused of killing a schoolgirl and joking she had "gone into the kebabs" will resume its deliberations tomorrow.
Iyad Albattikhi, 29, who was living in Blackburn while running a Blackpool takeaway, is accused of having sex with Charlene Downes, 14, before she was "chopped up" and disposed of.
No trace of Charlene's body has ever been found.
His business partner and landlord Mohammed Reveshi, 50, originally from Iran, denies helping to dispose of the body.
The jury was sent home until tomorrow after failing to reach a verdict.
