THE search is on for an elderly man who has wandered out of a hospital.
Police said the 74-year-old patient walked out of one of the wards at Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Haslingden Road, Blackburn just after 3pm.
Police attended after hospital staff reported the incident to them following concerns for his welfare and safety.
Patrols are still at the scene and dealing with the ongoing incident.
