A MAN had to be cut from his car after it hit a tree in Blackburn.
The car had lost control on Buncer Lane and hit a tree causing severe damage to the driver's side at around 10am.
Firefighters used specialist tools to take the car door off enabling paramedics to treat the casualty.
Two fire engines and crews from Blackburn responded and firefighters used hydraulic equipment to rescue the injured man, who was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from shock and minor injuries.
