AN investigation is underway after a fire at a Victorian Mill.
The incident happened at around 9pm in Gorse Street in Blackburn last night on the fifth floor of the five storey building.
Four fire engines attended and firefighters had to use an aerial ladder platform to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was at Imperial Mill, which is home to the Lancashire Saw Company Ltd.
Police were also called to secure the site following the incident.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause but there has been no suggestions it was started deliberately.
A fire service spokesman said: "We were at the scene approximately one and a half hours.
"At this point we are still investigating to find out what started the fire."
