A DOG was rescued by emergency crews after it fell from a disused quarry.
The pet had fallen around ten feet down onto a ledge in the former quarry in Flag Street/Stubbylee Lane, Bacup at around 12.25pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The dog was rescued by a mountain rescue team with a fire engine and crew from Bacup and a rope rescue team from Bamber Bridge attending the incident also.
