AN annual celebration of scooters and music is set to return to the Ribble Valley from today.
The annual event embodies live music, scooters and like minded people.
Hundreds of scooter riders will descend to Clitheroe for the Ribble Valley Mod Weekender tomorrow.
There will be various live bands playing on the main stage at The Grand Venue plus supporting venues.
Co-organiser Dave Cott said: "This is the sixth year we have put the event together.
"We had musicians play in three or four pubs when we originally started six years ago.
"In the first year we had just 30 scooters take part.
"They went round twice to make it look like there were a lot of us.
"Last year, on our fifth anniversary, around 500 scooters came to take part."
