THE East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust health fair took place at Blackburn Cathedral on Wednesday.
With a record number of attendees and over 60 stalls, the event saw stalls including charity cake and craft stalls, entertainment and Tai Chi, while the trust also held it's annual general meeting.
Lorraine Keogh, nurse Georgina and Sufiya Rasul, project manager for NHS careers service were on hand to discuss work opportunities.
Meanwhile Sue Henry, Angela O’Toole and Danika Pendlebury celebrated the news that the trust being the first in the world to receive a gold award for UNICEF baby friendly initiative. They have to be reassessed every few years and have been accredited for 20 years.
