THE Royal Oak in Pleckgate, Blackburn, has new owners at the helm.
Tim Pye and Michael Hargreaves, formerly of the Dog and Otter in Great Harwood, have taken over the popular pub that serves a range of cask ales and wines from Byrnes of Clitheroe.
Home cooked food using local produce is being used in meals that are served from noon to 2.30pm and 5pm to 7.30pm Monday to Thursday; all day Friday and Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday there is a £5 menu and on Saturday, July 28, they are holding a seafood evening.
