CURRY houses in Burnley proved hot stuff after they won at the English Curry Awards 2017 in Manchester on Monday.
The awards proved a sizzling success for The Aroma Asian Restaurant, in Church Street, after they won the 'Restaurant of the Year' category for the North West.
There was also joy for the Shagor tandoori takeaway, in Colne Road, who were the North West winner of 'Home Delivery of the Year', while Ibrahim Ali, of Usha Restaurant in Rossendale Road won 'Chef of the Year in the North', with the restaurant also winning 'Outstanding Restaurant of the Year 2017.'
