OLYMPIC medallist Bryony Page jumped at the chance to visit Lancashire’s biggest trampoline park.

Flip Out, a UK-wide trampoline park company, opens in Haslingden Road in Blackburn today.

The £2 million park is 40,000 square feet in size and will cater for 250 people at any one time. It will also contain the world’s largest stunt box area.

And British Olympic silver medal-winning trampolinist Bryony visited the venue ahead of its opening.

Flip Out Blackburn co-managing director, Russell Nelson said: “It’s great to have Bryony Page here as her winning a medal was the highlight of the Olympics for us.

“Her work is really helping to grow the profile of trampolining which is now one of the fastest growing sports in the country.”

Flip Out Blackburn co-managing director, Matt Nelson: “It’s been very challenging as we’ve set ourselves a target of not only being the largest park in Lancashire, but the best in the country. “

The park will include 140 interconnected trampolines, a trampoline football zone, foam pits, a total wipe out course, as well as a designated kid-trampoline zone for children of six and under.

“We have a number of unique features to our park such as the stunt box area, Wipeout, and laser maze designed to appear as a traditional Japanese building.”

“We also have a separate children’s area for the younger children and a great café serving fresh food where all the family can relax after bouncing.”
