TWO missing schoolgirls have been found, police said.
Jasmine Thornber, 12, from Blackburn and Michaela Wotherspoon, 12, from Darwen left their home addresses Sunday afternoon to meet each other and didn't return home.
However police said they were both found safe and well last night.
Officers had previously launched an appeal yesterday after becoming concerned about their safety.
A police spokesman said: "The two missing 12-year-old girls were located safe and well last night.
"Many thanks to everyone who assisted with our appeal."
