RESIDENTS have been urged to protect themselves and others by taking a stand against scams.
Pendle Community Safety Partnership has joined forces with Lancashire County Council Trading Standards and Pennine Community Credit Union to raise awareness and offer advice on the different types of scams
In the last 12 months, the Lancashire County Council Trading Standards Service received over 600 reports about postal, telephone, internet and doorstep scams.
July is national Scams Awareness Month and a number of sessions will take place in Pendle to provide advice to residents.
