A SCHOOLGIRL’S big dream is destined to come true.

Destiny Mannan, of Brunshaw Road, Burnley, will be dancing with pop sensation, Justin Bieber, in Cardiff this Friday.

The eight-year-old girl entered an online competition in which participants had to record a video of themselves dancing.

In the video Destiny said: “My name is Destiny. I am 117cm tall. I’m eight-years-old. It will be a big dream of mine to dance on Justin Bieber’s tour with him.

“He inspires me to be the dancer I am today.”

Destiny’s minute long video caught the pop artist’s attention and has accepted the chance to dance alongside Bieber at his Purpose Tour in Cardiff.

Destiny’s mother, Siobhan Waddington, has supported her daughter throughout the competition. She said: “I can’t believe it.

“Destiny’s younger sister, Alissia, keeps saying to her ‘I’m so proud of you’

“Even her dance teacher, who helped her choreograph her routine, was gobsmacked.”

Destiny’s dance teacher, Lucy Fallows, masterminded the dance routine and Siobhan gave her enormous credit for her daughter's success.

She said: “Lucy was the one who heard about it on YouTube and told all her dancers to apply online."

When Destiny arrives at Cardiff Stadium she will head straight back stage to prepare.

Miss Waddinton said: “Justin Bieber will be singing and then half way through the set, the dancers will follow him in a line and point to him.

“At the end he will give them all a hug and a high five and then ask them their name and where they’re from.”
