DETAILS have been announced for Northern Rail's services over the bank holiday weekend as Manchester Victoria station remains closed.
The station is part of an ongoing police investigation following Monday's terror attack at Manchester Arena and has also suffered structural damage.
The train company said the Blackburn to Manchester Victoria service via Todmorden will not be running on Saturday.
On Sunday and Monday the Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria service will have trains running between Clitheroe and Blackburn only.
Richard Allan, Northern’s deputy managing director said: “We will continue to do everything we can to keep our customers up to date with any information on the reopening of Manchester Victoria station.
“Over the busy bank holiday weekend we would ask customers to check our website or National Rail Enquiries before they travel.
"We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding during what is a difficult time for everyone in the city.”
Full timetables and a journey planner for this weekend are available on the Northern website through northernrailway.co.uk.
