A PARALEGAL from Accrington is set to take on the world's fastest zip line to raise money for charity.
Shoa Zafar, 30, will travel at 100mph over the 500ft Penryhn Quarry in Wales on Sunday, June 11.
She will be completing the challenge with colleagues Katie Helps and Beth Laws and they will be raising money for DWF Foundation.
The organisation raises funds for a host of charities across the North West.
Miss Zafar said: "Being suspended 500ft in the air is one thing but to be doing it when you're travelling at over 100mph is another.
"It'll be terrifying but an unforgettable experience.
"We wanted to do this because we love the DWF Foundation and all that it does to help charities and make a difference in local communities."
The three girls from DWF Law will be tackling the Velocity zip line at at Zip World Bethesda, which is also the longest in Europe.
Miss Zafar has set a fundraising target of £300 for the challenge and she has so far raised £235.
