A YOUTH club is searching for volunteers to ensure it can keep opening every week.

The club based at the Carus Centre in Hoddlesden is in need of people who could give two hours of their time on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm.

Secretary Luke Lord said: “We run the club for the benefit of young people in the village.

“It is run entirely by volunteers and receives no funding or support from the council.

“We need to find more volunteers to ensure we can open every week.”

If anyone is interested in volunteering then Mr Lord can be called on 07715 975326 or emailed at luke.lord@hotmail.co.uk.

Even if people can only offer time once a month the club is still willing to hear from them.

The club will have a stall at the St George’s Day event in Darwen tomorrow if anyone wants to find out more.
