A MAN suffered head and back injuries after falling into a stream in Accrington.
Fire crews were called to the incident yesterday afternoon in the stream which runs alongside Hyndburn Road - close to Asda.

It is believed the man fell from the bridge.
Firefighters from Hyndburn station wearing waterproof flood suits assisted paramedics and police in getting the man out of the water.
The water rescue team from Nelson then helped in getting him onto a stretcher and into an ambulance to be taken to hospital.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "If it hadn't been for the quick responce of all three emergency services the outcome of the incident could have been much worse."
