TODAY’S look into the Lancashire Telegraph archives has revealed this photographs of two youngsters looking particularly ‘chuffed’ to be visiting a model railway exhibition in 1993.
Five-year-old Craig Barber and his sister Sarah, three, were taken by a layout including a viaduct at the exhibition at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, organised by the East Lancashire Model Railway Society.
The annual exhibition continues to this day and continues to attract enthusiasts from all over the North West.
