A BURNLEY street that has been plagued by potholes has been earmarked for resurfacing.
Cllr Jeff Sumner, who represents the area Dalton Street is in on Lancashire County Council, said it will be put into the major repairs programme in the next financial year.

Around a dozen holes had appeared in the road in recent months, with some reaching up to a metre-and-a-half wide and 10cm deep.
Drivers using the road, which connects to Coal Clough Lane and runs parallel to Rossendale Road, are being forced to crawl along to prevent damage to their vehicles, residents said.
The potholes have appeared at the bottom end of the street, used regularly by buses and motorists, near to Hameldon Community College.
Cllr Sumner said: “We have listened to the residents and have worked hard to try to get the road repaired.
“I have been out and spoke with residents about the road on several occasions but I am pleased to say the road will be put forward for the major repairs programme for the next financial year.
“There are many roads that need fixing and this is one of them.”
