SCENE: A crime investigation van in Wellington Court
A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of her newborn baby.
Rachel Tunstill, 26, of Wellington Court, Burnley, appeared at Preston Crown Court over video link from Styal Prison.

Police said they were called shortly before 3pm last Monday to reports of a sudden death in Wellington Court.
The body of a newborn baby girl was found at the flat.
Police said a post mortem examination showed the baby had suffered a number of injuries.
Tunstill will next appear at the same court for a further case management hearing on April 7.
A provision trial date has been listed for June 5. That will take place in Manchester.
