FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a farm in Accrington overnight.
There were reports somebody was trapped in the building at Spire Farm in Sandy Lane.

However on arrival, the occupier was found safe and well in another part of the building.
Three fire crews, two from Hyndburn and one from Burnley, attended the fire which started in the kitchen of an annex attached to the main building at around 11.30pm.
It caused substantial damage to the ground floor rooms.
Police and the fire service are carrying out an investigation into the cause of the fire.
