A MAN has appeared in court charged with trespassing in houses in Nelson and Barrowford with intent to commit sexual offences on women.

Zsolt Suhaj, of Barkerhouse Road, Nelson, also faces a charge of indecently assaulting a woman in one of the houses and five charges of burglary with intent to steal when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates.

On October 26, Suhaj, 29, allegedly recklessly trespassed at a property in Rosser Court, Nelson, with intent to commit a sexual offence and with intent to steal.

On the same day he is also accused of committing a sexual assault on a woman in the town.

On July 13, Suhaj allegedly recklessly trespassed at a property in Hibson Road, Nelson, with intent to commit a sexual offence and with intent to steal and is charges with the same offences relating to Hawthorne Grove, Barrowford, 10 days later and Waidshuse Road, Nelson, on August 14.

On August 22 Suhaj is also charged with alledgedy committing the same offence in Regent Street, Nelson.

No pleas were entered to any of the charges and Suhaj was remanded in custody to appear at Burnley Crown Court on January 19.
