A MAN who made internet contact with a 13-year-old girl attempted to incite her to engage in sexual activity and took an image of himself engaging in sexual activity, a court heard.
But Blackburn magistrates were told the ‘girl’ was a police officer.

Dean Martin Scott, 49, of Manxman Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to attempting to incite a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity and attempting to cause her to look at an image of a person engaging in sexual activity.
He was committed in custody to Burnley Crown Court to be sentenced.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said the defendant started conversations with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl through a teen chat site.
During the course of the contact He made comments about her looking like a sexy girl and sent her an intimate picture of himself.
But the girl was an officer.
Miss Allan said: “He arranged to meet the girl at McDonald’s in Burnley and was arrested on his way there.”
