A MAN indecently exposed himself to a female solicitor in an interview at Blackburn’s Greenbank police station.
The town’s magistrates heard Colin Silvers became violent and threatening towards his solicitor, putting her in fear of violence, before dropping his trousers and saying: ‘have some of that’.
Silvers, 55, of Chatterton Hey, Bury, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, threatening behaviour and assault. He was jailed for 18 weeks.
Nigel Beeson, prosecuting, said Silvers, who was already on the Sex Offender Register because of offences of exposure, had been reported missing from the supported accommodation he was living in.
Jailing Silvers District Judge James Clarke said it had been frightening for the solicitor involved.
“She came to help you but instead found herself in a locked room and unable to escape,” he said.
