A BURNLEY man has been arrested for being under the influence of drugs while driving after he crashed into a motorcyclist causing him head and shoulder injuries.
Police said the 21-year-old male was driving a Vauxhall Vectra when he crashed into a Honda Pan-European 1300cc motorcycle at around 3.30pm on the A59 between Gisburn and Clitheroe.
The Vauxhall driver was later found to be under the influence of drugs and was subsequently arrested.
The motorcyclist from Bolton was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital but was concious and breathing at the scene.
Officers were at the scene for approximately two hours.
