MORRISONS’ three main East Lancashire stores will have extended opening hours in the run-up to Christmas.
They are Blackburn store on Railway Road in the town centre and its counterparts in Queen St, Great Harwood, and in Pendle St, Nelson, From December 19 the supermarkets will open from 6am to midnight with the exception of Sunday, December 20 when it will be from 11am to 4pm.

On Christmas Eve it will open from 6am to 6pm and on Boxing Day from 10am to 5pm.
The store will be shut on Christmas Day.
A Morrisons spokesperson said: “We have extended the opening hours of our Railway Road in Blackburn, Great Harwood and Nelson stores from 6am until midnight to offer our customers more time to do their shop.
“Customers have told us that they need more time over the busy festive period season to do their shop so our new hours should really help.”
