SMASH: The scene
A WOMAN was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital after losing control of her car and crashing into a wall.
The red Vauxhall Tigra collided with the wall at the Grey Mare Pub, near to the junction of Elton Road and Jackson Heights Road, in Belthorn this morning.
It resulted in Elton Eoad being closed in both directions. Another vehicle broke down on the road causing further traffic chaos between Blackburn and Haslingden.
