DOZENS of armed police surrounded a house in Edenfield after a stand-off with officers.
Police and paramedics received a call at around 2pm yesterday to a house in Bury Road after a domestic incident.

The road was closed for a number of hours and several officers with dogs and weapons surrounded the house.
Inspector Dave Wilson said the police had been attempting to arrest a man in the house.
He said there had been no immediate danger to the public.
An Edenfield resident said: “I saw a fleet of police cars through the village and head to Bury Road.
“There were lots of police with weapons, dogs and paramedics around this house.”
The road re-opened at around 5pm.
