Assault trial
AQUIB Taj, 27, of Blackburn Road, Accrington, has been remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to assaulting Aiser Iqbal.
Knife charge
WILLIAM Alexander Gordon, 35, of Copper Beeches, Meins Road, Blackburn, who was charged with affray and possessing a knife, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court.
Drugs denial
IAN James Riley, 59, of Leeds Close, Blackburn, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court when he pleaded not guilty to possessing crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
Pair bailed
ISMAIL Ebrahim Esat, 56, and Khalid Ismail Esat, 30, both of Churchill Road Blackburn, were remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to using threatening behaviour towards Abdul Gani Mukadal. Khalid Esat also denied assaulting Mr Mukadal.
